COVID-19
May 11, 2023, marks
the “End of the Federal COVID-19 Public Health Emergency (PHE)
Declaration.” We have resumed providing community services. As nurses
we are concerned about everyone’s well-being and committed to ensuring the
health and safety of our communities. We urge everyone to Stay Up to Date
with CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) Vaccines
recommendations. On September 12, 2023,
CDC recommended a COVID-19 vaccine updated for 2023-2024 for everyone aged
6 months and older to protect against serious illness.

CDC recommendations by accessing the CDC Website at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/
Please make sure you are
also aware of the advice given by our Florida Department of Health and the CDC
for stopping the spread of germs and viruses. Misinformation continues to
spread, particularly on the internet and through some social media, so please
use trusted sources of information.
